MINDFUL PRODUCTION

Behind every garment is skill, intention and hours of work.

At ROHVE the label, nothing is rushed. Every piece is made-to-order by me, in my home studio - one garment at a time. This isn’t factory-made or outsourced work. It’s hands-on from start to finish: I design, draft, cut, sew, press and pack each order myself.

My background is in sewing and patternmaking, and after 15+ years of learning, refining and experimenting, I’ve built a workflow that balances creativity with precision. The design process always begins with how something feels to wear - how it moves, how it fits and how it holds up in real life. Once the pattern is right, I cut everything by hand, carefully placing each piece to reduce waste and make the most of the fabric.

Sewing is where it all comes together. I take my time with every seam, ensuring clean finishes, secure construction and details that elevate the garment - whether that’s French seams, bias-bound edges, or hand-finishing when needed.

Due to the nature of my process and because I make everything to order, your garment hasn’t been sitting on a shelf - it’s made especially for YOU. I offer a Made For You option - if you need an alteration to your garment, I’ll do my best to accommodate. Simply email me at madeforyou@rohvethelabel.com.au to discuss your needs.

Offcuts are saved and turned into small accessories (which can be found in the ready-to-ship section) and the tiniest scraps are collected and sent to textile recycling - because nothing should be wasted if it can be reimagined or reused.

To me, mindful production isn’t just about lowering environmental impact. It’s about craft. It’s about slowing down enough to get it right. It’s about creating something with care - because you can feel the difference when it’s made that way.
